In 1986, the city of Stockton, California decided to hold a "Stockton Asparagus Festival" to help raise money for local charities and to bring more people to see Stockton!

The festival is usually held the fourth weekend of April, downtown Stockton. This festival is fun for the whole family, kids too! There are all kinds of things there like…..

Asparagus Alley - Yummy asparagus food is fixed there!
Celebrity Chefs - They can teach you how to cook asparagus!
Crafts - All kinds of stuff to buy!
Lake - Paddle boats to ride and ducks to watch!
Entertainment - All kinds for all ages!
Play Areas - All kinds for all ages!
Food - All kinds for every taste!
